Drive-thru Halloween Festival

You’re invited to our “first” Drive-thru Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 24th from 10am-12pm!

With everything that has changed this year, this event will be a BIG change to what we’ve traditionally done for our Halloween Festival.

Families will be able to drive through the Festival area, in the Regal Cinemas parking lot, adjacent to Buffalo Wild Wings, and pick up loads of fun to enjoy in the safe environment of your own homes. We’ll have Halloween Craft kits, Westchester Commons Treat Bags, Westchester Commons Merchants will offer pre-packaged treats, and for the first 250 children (ages 12 & under), you can pick up a Pumpkin decorating kit, complete with pumpkin!

Plus, we’ll have a socially distanced costume contest for kids (ages 12 & under) that are dressed up and would like to participate. The Top-10 costumed children (no age separation this year) will be chosen by a panel of judges, and there will be one costume chosen as “Best in Show!” Children will just step out of their vehicle, allow the judges to view the creative costumes (from 8-10 feet away), and you’ll be on your way! Results will be posted on this website and on the Westchester Commons Facebook page! (Children who are wearing masks/face coverings will not be penalized for keeping their masks on during the judging.)

During the event, social distancing guidelines will be in effect. All attendees will remain in their vehicles (other than those in the costume contest), and will be required to wear masks/face coverings when picking up their treats from vendors through their vehicle windows.

Thank you to Blessed Sacrament Huguenot Catholic School for providing volunteers for this event!

We hope that you enjoy this safe alternative event, as we adapt to the current environment, and we thank you for your continued support of Westchester Commons.
